What is the face of America in the 21st century? This is the driving question behind Face of America, a visual odyssey of the western hemisphere as told by the faces of its inhabitants. Photographer Mark McCambridge documents his travels from Alaska to Argentina, with many stops in between. 2009 will bring an extended stay in southern Brasil and voyages throughout Brasil, Argentina, and Uruguay.
